Much of the song is dedicated to its lengthy instrumental ending, which serves as an outro for both the song and the album as a whole. Epic Rocking: Clocking in at 7:54, "Everglow" is their longest song to date, and it has a comparatively unique progression (see Genre Shift below).
If I'm wrong about something or if you see something different, feel free to comment or correct if I messed something up. This is just my analysis and what I see in it. Then he transitions back to real life, talking about how he needs a savior or saving from when he "becomes his own worst enemy" and when his demons take over. This seems like he is almost fantasizing about a life with someone helping him and no demons to worrying about. It's kinda complex and ambiguous, but I think it could be either. This could also be someone in their life that isn't helping them but knows of his demons. When they mention that they can see "you" out there, they could be talking about the same person in the chorus, although this may show that the person is hypothetical because of how they say "I can feel you out there" or "I know you're watching". This could either be someone who is saving this person or a person that the singer is hoping for that can help them escape from their demonsīack to talking about the demons again. They feel that their demons taking over but nobody is able to see that they are. They are fighting their demons (inner demons) and needs saving that they may or may not be getting. My InterpretationI believe that the song is about someone who needs help or wants help from someone or something. I need your help, I can't fight this forever It takes control and drags me into nowhere
Oh you take all of the pain away (away, away) They wanna break me and wash away my colors They think I'm crazy but they don't know the feeling
